profile to be massively used not only from the point of view of the information query but also from that of
the information publication. In such a way, Internet has become one of the main direct or indirect information
sources available. In the world, there are more than 230 millions of servers connected to the Internet.
From them, more than 74 millions are aimed at the publication of information in the web. Taking all this into
consideration, we can have an approached idea about the amount of information put in the internet that can be
accessed through web pages. In this scenario, if we want to assure our web page success, it is necessary to
offer quality contents and services within an attractive web design.
However, this is necessary but not enough. Our web site must fight against thousands of other web sites
with the same or similar content, information, and even design and quality. If we want to win the battle,
we need to have an added value: we need to be found first.
The KYV (Know Your Visibility) tool, calculates the visibility of a web site, offering a report with the
corrective actions, if necessary. KYV analyzes the visibility of a web page, detecting the weak points and
